Just home from an after work beverage with the co-workers. I'm heading down for a quick nappy, so chances are I'll be starting the 'cast a little late tonight. If you are here at 8 sharp, well, gee, I am impressed, thanks for coming. I'm sure I will have things cooking by 8:30.

I am afraid that I have no audio files in the archive from this one. The new software does not support saving a local copy of the 'cast while streaming. I'll keep futzing with it though, and in the mean time I might try to get a listener or two to record the next one.

Ooops. Sorry 'bout that. please tune back in, my two and only listerns ;-) I should be back on line now. For some reason I was getting bonked from the Shoutcast YP server, and so I was not listed on their web site. I am afraid I didn't fix the problem. Pooh. I'll fuck with it later ;-)

Just talked with Brian Liston, he said the 128K stream was coming through loud and clear across town. I'm offline for 2 minutes here to install ICQ on my Win2K box, then I'mm gonna get down to some beats...

Alright, friends. I am broadcasting. Waiting for someone to ICQ me and let me know if the stream is clear. It kind of breaks up a little when I play back at 128K, but to do so I have to use to 256K, so it may just be a bandwidth issue.

PS-Once I am on the air, I'd appreciate it if you let me know if you have any problems with the stream. I am goung to start out at 128Kbps, but not sure if it will work. I'll be broadcasting at the highest rate our system will handle. If you can recieve other streams with no problem and mine is crunchy, please call! My cell number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. Obviously, if you just want to say hello, please use ICQ or email.
PPS-I am afraid I am leaving out my modem bound friends. I *did* get it working with two streams, high and low, but it uses too much bandwidth and things were getting choppy. So sorry. If you really are interested, you can come back and download an archived MP3 of the 'cast.
